Microalgae: more than the little sister of seaweeds

Algae exist in an incredible variety of forms and sizes. While most of us are familiar with only a small fraction, mainly macroalgae such as nori or wakame, staples of Asian cuisine, countless other species are emerging as key players for the future of food and sustainability.

BioMar released the results of the Asteasier fish trials

With 2024, Asteasier also ended; just last year, the project achieved extraordinary results, which make us proud of the work done. At the beginning of 2025, with a little delay, we are pleased to share the latest result from Asteasier: last December, our partner BioMar released the results of the fish trials; an important moment, which represents the culmination of the work done in the last two years.

The Asteasier start-up has been founded!

The last few months have marked an important milestone for our project: we are proud to announce that the Asteasier start-up has been founded. This was a fundamental step in the development of the Asteasier project, which in less than two years went from the research and trial phase to the market entry phase.

Asteasier samples are ready for fish trials in Biomar!

Today, the Asteasier project consortium partners A4F and SOLE-LAB (University of Verona) are excited to announce a significant milestone reached: samples are ready to be sent for fish trials at Biomar, a renowned leader company in aquaculture and partner in the Asteasier project.
