We are happy to announce that the Asteasier project has reached an important step of its development.<\/p>\n

In fact, just over a month ago, the fish trial phase began at BioMar’s technology centers, through which BioMar also supports test feed production for R&D projects, producing a large number of trial diets and biological trials every year. BioMar formulated the right nutritional composition and produced the required feed codes for testing the relevant pigment sources.<\/p>\n

In the last few weeks salmon maintained in BioMar’s technology center have been therefore fed with feed enriched with the astaxanthin produced from algae grown by the Universit\u00e0 degli Studi di Verona and A4F-Algae for Future, partners of the Asteasier project. The production process followed commercial standards and the next few months will be important to confirm the positive effects of natural astaxanthin and validate Asteasier’s innovative approach.<\/p>\n
