Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial Business Developer to join our team in Rome, Italy. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving our business development efforts, operational planning, and strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

In the first phase, you’ll work side-by-side with a supervisor, gaining deep insight into our business and operations. As you grow into the role, you’ll take increasing ownership of projects, contributing directly to the company’s success and expansion.

• Map and engage potential customers, distributors, and partners to build new business opportunities and strengthen market presence.

• Open communication channels, coordinate meetings, and support the team throughout customer interactions and follow-ups.

• Contribute to strategic materials — from business plans to investor decks — keeping all key documents up to date.

• Support day-to-day operations, helping structure internal processes to ensure seamless execution.

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered VAT number (Partita IVA) or willingness to open one.
• 3+ years of experience in business roles (less experience may also be considered).
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• A strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive, hands-on attitude.

Nice to Have:

• Background in biotech or food tech.

• Experience working in a startup environment or high-growth company.
