Asteasier has been awarded first place in the North-East semifinal of the CNA Cambiamenti Award, securing a spot in the national final to be held on April 22–23 in Rome.
The event took place in Verona at the Nuova Accademia del Design (former Magazzini Generali), bringing together 23 startups from across Veneto, Friuli Venezia Giulia and Trentino-Alto Adige. Each team presented its vision and project in a two-minute pitch format.
Now in its ninth edition, the CNA Cambiamenti Award is one of Italy’s leading competitions for innovative startups and new enterprises. The jury selected Asteasier as the top project of the North-East region.
“Our mission is to translate research into real-world impact,” said CEO Federico Perozeni. “Microalgae are an extraordinary natural platform for producing essential molecules for human and animal health. Our approach is not to disrupt nature, but to understand and optimize it. Biotechnology, research, and innovation are key to building a more sustainable future.”
Asteasier will now represent the North-East in Rome, competing with the best startups from across Italy for the national title.
